Unaccompanied children
Most airlines have implemented specific measures to ensure the safety of children flying without an adult.
Contact the airline to make appropriate arrangements and ensure your child is properly accompanied from the time they arrive at the airport until they reach their destination and is looked after by an adult on site.
Please note that all airlines offer unaccompanied minor services for children aged 8 and older. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by someone who’s at least 16 years old.
The airline will explain how everything works in terms of checking in, identification and transportation of baggage, flight details and accompaniment aboard the plane, going through customs, arrival, and the adult picking up your child.
