Planning a stress-free return
Quebec, on June 10, 2026
Headed back home after a stay abroad? Here are some tips to help you enjoy the last day of your trip while making your return to Canada as smooth as possible.
Plan your trip home
If you didn’t leave your vehicle at one of our parking lots, there are plenty of other ways to get home.
Take a taxi or a limo
Head to the taxi counter, located nearclose to the international arrivals area at level 1 of the terminal. Be sure to mention any special needs when speaking to the staff.
Take the bus with the Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC)
RTC routes 76 and 80 run between the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport and Sainte-Foy and downtown Québec City, respectively. Visit the RTC website to learn more: www.rtcquebec.ca/en.
Use a rideshare service
Uber and Lyft are both available at the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport. Download their mobile apps to book your ride.
Ask someone you know
Is someone coming to pick you up? Make sure they know they can use the free waiting area! Simply call or text them to say you’re ready so they can meet you in front of the terminal, where there are spots reserved for them to quickly pick up or drop off passengers.
